Nicólas Soul is an alternative R&B artist and founder of NuRenaissance, born in Homa Bay, Kenya and raised in Tennessee from age six. Writing and recording since 2012, he's built a sound that blends soulful vocals with introspective, systems-minded songwriting, drawing from Eminem's lyricism, Lauryn Hill's soul, and the genre-blurring instincts of Kanye West and Childish Gambino. His current project, A Love Letter to Kenya, is an evolving visual album told as a psychological thriller about a man held in America by capitalism while fighting his way home to Kenya. New chapters are always coming.
